Class of 1960 - Dennis Donnelly.  Just ran across this website noticed comment from April 2010 by Patricia Lynch - Eileen Doherty concerning reunion. Did it happen?  What memories of St. Bride's.  Sister Gabriel, Sister Corrine, Sister Cecely and more. Would love to converse and reminisce.

We are going to try this 1969 class reunion,again.  It seems most people are finding eachother through facebook.  Teresa Dillon, Walt Shebet, and many others

Would have graduated in 1974, Dad and Mom moved us down to bluegrass land been there ever since.  Must say, though, St. Brides was a fantastic school.  Does anybody remember RE cards and the annual trip to Enchanted Forest? 

I graduated in 1974.  A couple of weeks ago, I was back in Chicago and went to Sunday mass.  It's been over 20 years since I was back at the parish.  I really love the new configuration of the pews.  It was nice to "visit home" again.

Wow, does your website bring back memories! I grew up on 79th & Saginaw, attended Bradwell School. Every Tuesday afternoon, all of the Catholic kids would leave Breadwell and process over to St. Bride's for catechetism classes. I remember the wooden floors, the nuns, Mother Superior's office, the cloakrooms, and the smell of the school...varnish, wood, and clean. We had mass before class...I remember May Day, and I was picked to wear my communion dress and lead the May Day procession, probably in 1964 or '65.We moved out to Alsip in 1969, only went back to visit grandparents on 78th & Burnham, and 79th Street, about a block from South Shore Drive. My sister Kim and I also came back and made our confirmation at St. Bride's.  I am so glad to see that the church is open and viable, loved your pictures from your parish picnic! Boy, those were the good old days, I miss the old neighborhood and growing up in Chicago... God bless you one and all!

I don't believe I found this website by accident. There is an excitement in the air as I view the photos, etc...and the music!!! I have family in Chicago and I hope to visit you soon!

i have alot of great memories,St. Bride will always have a special place in my heart.

Just heard about Dave. My deepest condolances. I worked with him for years in the 009th District when he was partners with Mark O Hare. Great officer and father always talking about his daughters and their athletic abilities.

I graduated St. Bride in 1971 and have very fond memories of living in the south shore area.

Patricia Lynch, I too am from the class of 1960. Are you and Eileen still planning a reunion? I think its a great idea.

Just  stopped by to say hello.  Living in Louisiana for the last 20 years.   My one year at St. Bride was special. Kissed my first girl.

Spent some of the happiest days of my life there.
